Think. Understand. Practice. Feel.

When you understand the process, the progress follows.

I am a cellist, a cello teacher, and a certified art therapist and art coach.

I have been teaching the cello professionally for 14 years.

My very first lesson I taught at the age of 17 while still studying at music college.

Teaching Philosophy & Approach

My teaching style is focused on the personal needs of each student.

I work with children and adults of all skill levels — from absolute beginners to those preparing for entry exams to professional music institutions.

A key element of my teaching style is neuro-pedagogy.

I integrate knowledge from cognitive science, motor learning, and neuro-based practice methods into my lessons.

This means that I do not only teach technique — I also teach students how to think, how to process movement, and how to build effective, brain-based practice habits that lead to real progress.

I have developed my own approach to teaching autistic individuals and students with ADHD.

My students consistently achieve high marks on renowned music education boards such as AMEB, ABRSM, and RCM, and many receive scholarships to prestigious schools and universities.

In May 2023, I became a certified art therapist and art coach, which has enriched my teaching approach and brought new perspective and depth to my work.

Although I do not practice as a full-time art therapist, I integrate selected techniques and tools into my lessons whenever they benefit the student.

This additional expertise allows me to connect with my students on a deeper level and help them reach their full potential.
